Thesis Production Blog Week 9

April 11:
This morning Carl and I worked on timing how long it would take to preform the story beats of our film. I was editing the timing. Carl was working on relighting the 3d layout.
April 20th:
Piper is going to help me with adding back sounds to acts 2-3.We realized the 2d animatic disappears randomly in the 3rd act.I will add that back in once the score is finalized.
Aaron had some notes about the animatic:
first half soundtrack fits pretty well once the music quiets down, pace of the actions seems more accurate than before

the section right around the fade to black is a complete wash to me, i got totally lost there and it took a while to catch back up

soundtrack backing the moths flying out of the forest is really really strong, i think it fits perfectly

the super simple sounding track that plays behind MC jumping off the cliff seems out of place to me and doesn’t fit the mood after all the psychological thriller leadup
new
and i think we received feedback and discussed before to remove the close up of the moth flying across the camera at the end
The animatic is in a better state this week.
